Stories have always been at the heart of my work, whether I’m bringing my own words and illustrations to life or collaborating with other writers to help their stories shine, this is my favorite way to let me creativity shine. Bagels
A New Yorker Story
Shannon's debut piece as both writer and illustrator.
This short story was inspired by her love for her home state of New York and the joy bagels have brought her and her family.
Little Miss I Don't Know
Written by Shannon's cousins Joann Baker-Smith and Norah Smith and illustrated by Shannon Baker. This is an amazing picture book to help build and inspire confidence in young children! Watch as Norah learns to speak up and let the world know what she is thinking and feeling in this wonderful story.
